Apple Cider Slush
With fall upon us, what better thing to whip up than an Apple Cider Slush?! My kiddos went completely nuts for them (as did I). They are super simple to make and so tasty!
I took my kids to the apple orchard recently and they had such a great time picking out apples from all of the crazy looking trees!
We came home with about 60 apples and so we began making all sorts of apple related things and the favorite was the Apple Cider Slushie’s!
At the orchard they were selling them and the line to get them was OUT OF CONTROL, so I decided it would be much simpler to just make them when we got home. Sure enough, they were simple + so delicious!
- 1 apple, peeled + cubed
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups apple cider
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- ice, about 4 cups
- In a blender, place cubed apples and all the ingredients.
- Pulse it until it reaches a consistency that you like. You can add more liquid to make it more drinkable or more ice to make it thicker if you like!
