Crock Pot Apple Cider

One of our favorite family traditions in the fall is to go to our local family farm and do the corn maze and other fun activities. It seems to get more fun each year! Its usually cool when we leave the corn maze and by the time we get home we are ready for a nice warm treat. This year I decided to make my Moms Crock Pot Apple Cider so when we came home the house smelled yummy, and we had cider to cuddle up with.

We always serve this cider at our Christmas party because it is so easy and yummy. Its only 3 ingredients – Apple juice, an orange, and whole cloves.

Fill the crock pot with apple juice (make sure you use juice- not cider). Take about 12-15 cloves out of you jar.

Stick them into the orange with the pointy end.

Do this all over the orange until the cloves are gone.

Drop the orange into the apple juice, turn on low, and leave for 8 or more hours.

Then go have a great time!

And when you come home your cider is all ready to enjoy! The perfect way to end a perfect fall evening!

  • Thank you so much for this recipe!
I love this sooo much I’ve been drinking non stop. I actually gone thru the whole crock pot in two 1/2 days! Lol! Had to make more.
    This is the best!!!
I even added cinnamon stick in the second batch and tasted better. Can’t wait for more recipes :)) !!!

  • Omg! This is just what I was looking for! I’m keeping this recipe and now I can’t wait for fall to get here! Its my fave season. Actually I might give this recipe a shot tomorrow just to enjoy the stuff 😉 A suggestion: for ppl who want a shot of alcohol in their cider, try finding a liqueur called hot damn its a cinnamon flavored alcohol. My mom swears by it when you have a cold. 😉
