Spooky Halloween Mantle

I really wanted to make a statement with my mantle this year. I wanted it super spooky, but not creepy. My inspiration was the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland meets Harry Potter.

I love my new broom and hat!

I stacked our sorting hat onto some old family bibles that were perfect!

Wish I could have got a snowy owl like Hedwig but they were not near as cute as the black ones. The mercury glass really helped give sparkle but kept the spooky feel.

I am in love with this candelabra – the perfect Haunted House piece!

I wanted a Shrieking Shack for my frame, but I didn’t want it to be just a picture. I found a Haunted House image and then I transferred it onto fabric. I love the effect – very rustic and spooky!

Look for a tutorial on how to transfer a printed image onto fabric in about a week or so.

Happy Spooky Halloween!
