Let me introduce you to our family’s favorite dinner – Bacon Wrapped Chicken Kabobs. Trust me you are going to love them. They only take 5 ingredients and the recipe is memorized after 1 time making them.
You need:
Chicken
Bacon
Garlic Salt
Pineapple
Onion
Cut the chicken into small pieces and cut the whole pack of bacon in half so that the pieces are half as long as normal. Sprinkle a generous amount of garlic salt over the chicken. Strain the pineapple and cut the onion into bite sized pieces.
Now you just have to skewer them. Wrap a piece of bacon around a piece of chicken and secure with the skewer. Make sure the bacon overlaps and put the skewer through that part so the bacon wont unravel when it gets cooked. Alternate with the pineapple, onion, and more bacon and chicken.
BBQ on low-med. Because of the grease on the bacon the fire can get pretty crazy on the BBQ so be sure to watch them.
We eat them with rice and soy sauce. It is delicious!
This is one of my favorite meals for when I know I will be gone all day. I just take the chicken and bacon out to thaw in the morning and when I come home I am ready to cook.
Enjoy!
