Haunted Graveyard Cake

Sharing is caring!

Beckham has been needing some one on one time so I figured a little time in the kitchen with Mom would be a good idea. I decided to make a Tombstone Cake with him because they are so fun and easy.

You can either make a cake and top it with pudding or just do a solid pudding bottom. My favorite chocolate cake is this To die for Chocolate Cake.

Ingredients:
Cake and/or pudding
Oreo’s
Milano cookies
Chocolate or black licorice
Wire – I didn’t have and tried to use toothpicks and it didn’t work very well
Black food coloring and a tiny paintbrush or Food Marker Writers

First make your base.

Crush Oreos in a bag and spread on top.

I wanted to make a cool tree like this one from Parents….

…but I was short the wire and so I used toothpicks and skewers. It did not have the same effect but Becks didn’t mind.

To paint the names on the tombstones I added a teaspoon of water to a bowl and mixed in black food coloring. Then I used a tiny paintbrush to paint on the engravings. Pam just informed me that they have  Food Marker Writers.

Here are some funny tombstone names to use:

Rustin Peace
C.U. Later
M.T. Tomb
Theo Later
Ray N. Carnation
I.M Gone
Lev Itation
G.I. Miss You
Al B. Back

Don’t forget to lick the leftovers!

The boys are dying to eat it! Ha Ha Ha! 🙂
