Creative Halloween Costumes

Sharing is caring!

Going into the holidays is a little rough for me this year. I had the most amazing Mom and she passed away this last February from ALS. She went all out for every holiday! At Halloween she always made the most rad Halloween costumes! She would put them together herself and they were always amazing. She dressed up each year too! Here are a few samples of her amazing creations.

She loved to have us kids coordinate!

I wish I had the picture of the 3 of us from the year we were Captain Hook, Peter Pan, and Tinkerbell but the only pic I could find was of my older brother as Captain Hook.

She made this Superman costume for my little brother Mark and two of my boys have worn it. 30+ years later and its still in great condition!

Last year while watching Scooby-doo Davis said our family was like the Scooby-doo gang – he was Freddie, Mom was Daphne, Caleb was Scooby, Dad was Shaggy, and Beckham was Thelma. He wanted us to dress up together for Halloween as the gang and it was so much fun!

We did save Becks the indignity of being Thelma and let him be Scrappy-doo instead. Have you ever seen such a cute Freddie!

This year has kind of snuck up on me so I hit Pinterest to come up with a few ideas. These are on my short list for this year!

My Beckham would make the cutest hobo or Perry the Platypus!
