Hey guys! It’s Kari from Rad + The Rest! Today I want to share this DIY Halloween Skeleton Frame with you! It is such a fun and easy holiday project! And even better, I got most of the supplies from the dollar store!
I am so excited to share this fun tutorial with you guys! Halloween is my absolutely favorite holiday!
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own!
DIY Halloween Skeleton Frame:
-burlap ribbon (optional, for wreath)
Once you’ve gathered all your supplies, you’ll need to take apart the skeletons. You’ll want to make sure the skeletons you get have ‘joints’ and are able to come apart or be cut. Once you’ve disjointed all of the skeletons, you’ll simply start gluing them onto the frame, using hot glue.
Glue the pieces of bones on randomly and try to cover as much of the frame as possible. If some of the frame is still showing in between the bones, it’s ok because it will all be covered with paint. Next, paint the entire thing with your choice of spray paint. I used grey spray paint because it’s what I already had at home, but a bone colored spray paint would look great too. If you’re going to use your frame outdoors, adding a glow in the dark spray paint top coat could be super fun!
One of my favorite things about this project is that it’s so versatile and can be used it more ways than one. It can be used as a frame or as a wreath, guys! Tie a burlap bow on it and it would look perfect ” wreath” for your front door!
Isn’t it SO creepy cute?? And seriously SO easy! You can head over to Rad + the Rest to get your own skeleton printable, too!
