For breakfast the other morning I was ready for something fall feeling, but I didn’t have any canned pumpkin. I decided to make Pumpkin Pie Spiced French Toast and we loved it. Topped with buttermilk syrup – double yum!!!
I had a loaf of homemade wheat bread that we used for the bread. I think it would be awesome with a loaf of french bread!
Pumpkin Pie Spiced French Toast
4 beaten eggs
1 c milk
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp vanilla
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
In a shallow bowl beat together ingredients. Dip bread into egg mixture and cook on a buttered skillet.
