The Best Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients

Cupcakes

  • 1 box Duncan Hines Devils Food Cake Mix
  • 1 package 4 servings Instant Chocolate Pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips

Frosting

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 package cream cheese softened

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients and mix on high for 2 minutes.
  • Pour into prepared cupcake pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 18-22 minutes.
  • Let cool and frost!
  • To make the frosting, cream the butter and shortening until smooth.
  • Add in vanilla.
  • Add powdered sugar mixing 1 cup at a time.
  • Beat in softened cream cheese and mix until smooth.
