These buttery Ham and Swiss Sliders are made using Hawaiian Rolls filled with Honey Ham, Swiss Cheese and flavored with a seasoned mayonnaise and butter dijon sauce. These make a delicious addition to a potluck or for a light dinner!
Combine a ½ cup Mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard and 1 tablespoon onion powder in a small bowl. Use a spoon to combine everything together until it's smooth.
HOW TO MAKE THE BUTTER SAUCE
Melt the ⅓ cup butter in the microwave or on the stovetop. Then add 2 tablespoons dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon onion powder, the Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds. Whisk together.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE SANDWICHES
Use a bread knife to cut the rolls in half. If you buy your rolls, they'll most likely already be attached by the dozen. This will allow you to cut them all at once. Having them in large areas like this makes for quick assembly. No problem if you have separated rolls though, just cut them one at a time!
Next spread the sandwich spread lightly on each half of the rolls.
Place 12 pieces of Honey Ham evenly on each dozen rolls.
Then place 6 slices of Swiss Cheese on top of the Ham. If you like your sandwiches extra cheesy, feel free to do a second layer of cheese. But keep in mind you may need to cook them a little longer to ensure the cheese fully melts.
Next, you can add another layer of meat on top of the cheese if you're wanting a heavier and more filling sandwich. Put the tops of the rolls.
Lastly, pour the butter sauce on top of the rolls and use a basting brush to disperse it all over the rolls. Use it to push the sauce down in the cracks and along the sides! You really want the rolls smothered in it! Cover the rolls with tin foil and allow the rolls to sit for at least 10-15 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes with the tin foil on. Uncover and bake an additional 2-5 minutes, watching closely.

Notes
Can I use a different kind of cheese?
Yes! You totally can! My two favorite are for sure Swiss Cheese and Pepper Jack Cheese! The Pepper Jack cheese adds a little kick to your sandwich! I've also tried Provolone cheese! There's really no cheese that you can't use!
Can I make them ahead of time?
Yes!! That's one of the reasons I love this recipe! You can make them up to 24-48 hours ahead of time. I usually do actually! Just make sure to pull them out of the fridge 20 minutes before baking them.
