Chicken Spice Rub

A delicious Chicken Spice Rub that is great to use when you are frying or grilling chicken!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/8 cup Paprika
  • 1 tablespoons Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Coriander
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Celery Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Cayenne

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together using a spoon or whisk! Use approx 1 tablespoon of the rub per side of chicken and rub the mixture into the chicken. Allow to marinade on the meat for 8 to 24 hours. The longer the rub is on the chicken the more the chicken will take on the flavor.

Notes

I prefer to Grill or Fry the chicken after using the rub. If you are wanting to bake the chicken, I suggest searing all sides of the chicken first. Enjoy!
