  • 6 Cups Green Beans Cut and Cooked
  • 1.5 Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup (10 3/4 oz)
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1.5 tsp Soy Sauce
  • Dash of Pepper
  • 2 Cup French-Fried Onions divided

  • Clean, trim and cut the green beans into halves or thirds, depending on their size.
  • Boil the green beans until fully cooked (al dente, not too soft).
  • Add the cooked green beans to a medium-large bowl. Add the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and pepper and combine.
  • Then add 1 cup French Fried Onions to that mixture and gently mix them together.
  • Grease a 1 1/2 qt casserole dish and pour the green bean and sauce mixture into it.
  • Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from the oven and stir the mixture. Sprinkle it with the remaining French Fried Onions and bake 5 minutes longer or until the onions are golden brown.

This recipe can be made with canned green beans. However, in my opinion, it's much better when you use fresh green beans.
