Our family loves to camp! One of the areas of prep that I dread though is preparing the food! I decided this year, to make it easier on myself, that I was going to prepare a Kids Camping Snack Basket! This way whenever one of my 3 kids gets hungry, they know where to go and are able to get it themselves!

I opted for a little healthier options for the snack basket, since we would be making s’mores and some other desserts after our dinners! I really loved this fun idea for Grab N’ Go Smores from Smart School House!

I put the following in our Kids Camping Snack Basket:

Horizon Apple Fruit Crunchers

Horizon Toasted Coconut Fruit Crunchers

Horizon Super Squeezes – Orange and Strawberry

Homemade Soft Granola Bars

Apples

Grapes – in snack sized baggies

Carrots – in snack sized baggies

Mini Poppyseed Lemon Muffins

Other ideas that you could put in your basket:

Applesauce Pouches

Oranges

Raisins

Dried Mango

Fruit Leather

Nuts

Now I’m off to go finish prepping the rest of our meals and organize all our stuff (these Camping Hacks are awesome)! Looking for some fun meal ideas? Check these ideas out:

Dutch Oven Camping Pizza

Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Tin Foil Dinner

Ground Beef Foil Dinner

Homemade Camping Ice Cream

I love the healthy options! I am one who tends to get things like chips and candy for their goodies. I need to do stuff like this instead.
