This Bedtime Routine Printable will help your kids establish a successful independent bedtime routine! Available completed or blank, so you can customize it to fit your needs.

Two versions of the Bedtime Routine printables -- one blue and green and one pink and purple. Each shows 6 different steps to get ready for bedtime.

BEDTIME ROUTINE CHART

Bedtime! It can be the best time of the day and the worst time of the day – amiright? haha! My older two kids have been generally pretty good about bedtime actually, but my youngest fights us a bit more. The older two can basically do it all themselves now. They sometimes just need reminded of things like brushing teeth, reading, etc. The other night I was especially tired and just found myself having to repeat myself a couple times with something that (at that moment) felt that they should have no problem remembering. I mean we do it every night, right? So, I decided I needed to make some Bedtime Routine Chart for their rooms! And I knew it would be especially helpful to my youngest!

A few years ago, I made these Morning Routine Printables, and I really noticed a difference on our mornings! They just went smoother and the kids learned to take some initiative on getting themselves ready! I knew that is what our bedtime needed!

If you have kids and are looking for more printables to help simplify your life, check these out!

KIDS BEDTIME ROUTINE CHART

I created two versions! One pink & purple and one blue & green! And I have them available both completed and then also a blank template, that you can customize to fit your bedtime needs.

Items Needed:

  • Routine Printable (download below)
  • Home Printer
  • Cardstock
  • Laminator and Laminating Sheets
  • Magnetic Tape or Squares (optional)
  • Clipboard (optional)

 Instructions:

  1. Download the printable of your choice below.
  2. Print on your Home Printer on Cardstock.
  3. For long term use, I suggest laminating it with your home Laminator and Laminating Sheets
  4. If you don’t want to laminate it then you can also just attach it to a Clipboard or tape it to a bathroom mirror or magnet it on a magnet board.

How to Create a Kids Bedtime Routine Checklist

Once downloaded, you can import the file into Photoshop or any other editing program that you have and then you can add your own images and text!

I am having a hard time opening the link for the bedtime routine. I was able to get the morning routine easily. Is the link broken? Or am I doing something wrong?
They are so cute and colorful, and I want them to match.

My kids would love the mirror and time to be kind book. One of our family themes is “be kind” and this would be perfect to reiterate it.

I’ve never thought of framing a bedtime routine. We have one but it just hangs in a page protector. Framing it is definitely cuter!!!
