I really haven’t felt the groove the last few years when its come to decorating for Halloween. Things just weren’t pulling together. This year I was determined to get a good vibe for Halloween. I did my mantle (yes I call decorating the top of my cheap little entertainment center my mantle) and loved it! It  reminded me of Harry Potter and that’s when the light bulb went on! It would be so fun each year to turn our house into Hogwarts!

I am a Potter head. There I said it. I LOVE the Harry Potter books!

I didn’t get the design inspiration until I was pretty much done decorating and so I just added a few Harry Potter things this year and next year I will really get it going! First off I wanted to design some house posters!

I put them in mismatching frames on my big collage wall and love them!

I also finally did something I have wanted to do for years. Want a little preview…cause I want to give one!

Check out my full Potions Kits here.

Hi Lisa! I stumbled across your blog and found these AMAZING signs. I’m putting together a HP party for my oldest daughter. She’s over the moon for me. I’m having trouble downloading them. Would it be possible for you to email them, so I can download and take to Kinkos to print on cardstock? She wants to put them up in her room post party and I plan on following your lead and framing them.

You don’t have to print them from home. You can download them and then upload them to somewhere like costco or walmarts website just like a picture. They print them for you. It’s affordable and they won’t fade.

I print all of my printables at a photo place. If you choose the lustre setting instead of glossy it’s even better.
      Hope this helps!

I was so excited to find your Harry Potter drink and potion labels. Unfortunately, I can’ seem to get them to download. Any suggestions? I was able to get the “House” 8 x 10’s to download. Thanks.
