I am officially obsessed with Teacher appreciation week! I love it! Our teachers do so much for us and our children, and they are so underpaid and under appreciated!
We had some amazingly talented women on our PTA committee! We took the teachers on a tour around the world this week at our school. Each day the staff room was transformed for that country. I wish I had taken pictures during the week of our schools staff room. It looked awesome each day! I made a travel brochure at the beginning of the week and then we did little gifts each day that coincided with that country. It was so much fun!
This year I LOVE both of my boys teachers! Both Davis’ preschool teacher and Caleb’s teacher are amazing! There really is nothing better than knowing your kids are well taken care of while they are gone from home. This week I sent a couple of little gifts to them to show them our appreciation. The first was a bunch of strawberries with a tag I got from eighteen 25. I just wrapped a ribbon around the container and taped the tag to the top.
Then today we sent them homemade cinnamon rolls. I happen to make a pretty good cinnamon roll 🙂 Seriously if you like cinnamon rolls – I’m tell you this is the best recipe ever! It really is not that difficult, and they will make you famous around yor neighborhood! My local Maverick has the coolest worker and he gave me 5 clam-shell containers for free. Then I put a cinnamon roll inside, wrapped it with some twine, and tied my tag on.
In my post vacation stupor I somehow missed Secretaries Day. Since we have the most awesome secretaries (EVER!) I took them one also to show my thanks!
I most excited about this tag because it can be used for so many other occasions too – Valentines, birthday, thank you….
I made the tags in bright fun colors. Enjoy!
I also made a Christmas version this year:

What a great idea with the ROLLS! Just took our teachers’ gifts in to school this morning but this is tops on my list for next year already! I will have to learn to make The Pioneer Woman’s cinnamon rolls and this gift card you made will be perfect. How sweet!
