We have passes to our local Zoo and my kids LOVE to go often! Especially in the summers! In the summers we like to get up early and go in the mornings, while it’s still cool and we can get home in time to just eat lunch at home! But, of course, the kids want a snack while at the Zoo! So, today I am sharing with you guys my kids favorite Summertime Snack Mix (with a printable bag topper), as well as a fun Zoo Animal Scavenger Hunt printable!!
First, let’s start with my kids favorite Snack Mix!
- Horizon Honey Snack Grahams
- Horizon Cheddar Snack Crackers
- Chocolate Candy w/ hard shell
- Pretzels
- Cashews
- Caramel Corn Chips
- Chocolate & Peanut Butter Corn Chips
- Swedish Fish
Combine in a bowl, mix and then divide into individual bags!
I am offering the bag toppers to fit quart sized Ziploc Bags (7″), as well as bags that are 5″ wide and 4″ wide. That way you can use it for all options – field trips or parties!!
I also made this Zoo Scavenger Hunt printable for my kids! They LOVE marking off papers or using maps while we are at stores. So, I knew they’d love this! Just print this off at home on cardstock!
I hope that you and your littles enjoy our favorite Kids Snack Mix and Zoo Field trip!! You can download all the files below:

My boys would love this! Also, a scavenger at the zoo, that is such a great idea. Can’t wait to print these or and head to the zoo.
