Meet Quinn – our Mini Goldendoodle

HOLY CRAP…. I am SO excited for you guys to see this new little addition to our family! Meet our new Mini Goldendoodle, Quinn! We mostly call her Quinny! And my 6 year old calls her Quinster! For those wondering she’s a Mini F1B Goldendoodle! Basically that means her mom is 50% Golden Retriever and 50% Poodle and her dad is a full mini poodle! Her and her 6 sisters were born on Christmas morning! That really was such a fun text to get Christmas morning!

We are ALL in love! I mean look at that face! Although she may look a little unimpressed all the time, she really does love us and wants to be near someone ALL. THE. TIME. She is the sweetest, cutest thing ever!

I’m going to be honest, I can’t believe I got a dog! I never thought I would own a dog. But, about a year ago, our friends got a goldendoodle and my whole family fell in love with him! So, last Spring, I started to actually consider the idea. For the next few months I kept letting the idea settle in and we were also waiting for the mama to go into heat! Then, late Fall the mama finally got prego and I knew we were ready for this!

I knew it was gonna be a lot of work, but I didn’t realize it was going to feel this “newborn” like! I haven’t been able to to just incorporate her right into my normal life. I’ve had to slow down quite a bit this last few weeks. I’ve kept up on the house and my family, but work was pretty non-existent last week! She’s picking up on the potty training and I’m feeling like I’m being able to get back to working a bit more.

We are so excited to see her grow up and be a part of this family and I can’t wait to share more of her! I’ll show her face sporadically on my @overthebigmoon, but you can also follow her more on instagram at @quinnsdoodlelife!
