Hi everyone! It’s Annette, from Tips From a Typical Mom. I’m so happy to be guest posting again here on Over the Big Moon. Over on my blog I love to share free printables, family friendly recipes, parenting tips, and product reviews with my readers. Today I’m here sharing a cute St. Patricks Day Free Printable Treat Topper with you. This Treat Topper is so cute and tells the ones you love just how much you care about them.
I love to give my kids a little something special every St. Patrick’s Day and these cute little packages of rainbows and gold are just the thing this year! I love how colorful these are and my kids are going to absolutely love these.
You can download these and print them onto card stock, two at a time, right from your own printer at home. Then I used snack sized zip top bags to add the candy to, folded the treat topper in half, then stapled it right to the top of the bag. I love working with paper but it bugs me so much to use scissors to cut out these cute treat toppers. I hate how wobbly the scissors make the cut. So I am always sure to use a paper cutter. My favorite one is this Swingline Paper Cutter. It’s big enough to cut scrapbooking paper and I use it at least once a week. Not only that but my kids use it for homework all the time. It’s a timesaver for sure!
All you need for this fun little project is:
- Large Bag Original Skittles
- Twizzlers Rainbow Licorice
- Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- Hershey’s Gold Chocolate Nuggets
- Snack Size Zip Top Bags
- Card Stock
- Paper Cutter
- Free Printable found HERE
I’ve made this handy short video to show you how to add the rainbow licorice, skittles, and chocolate to the bags and add the treat topper. It’s so simple!
There you have it! So simple huh? I love how these turned out and they are so cheerful and colorful.
