This year I am in charge of Teacher Appreciation Week at our school for the PTA. One thing I wanted to do was get each teacher to fill out a “favorite things” survey that I could send home to each of the parents. I know that I would have loved and appreciated one of these in years past. I tried to ask a variety of questions that could offer options that were both cheap vs. expensive and healthy vs. junk food.
I put one in each of the teachers boxes and asked them to return them to the PTA box. I’m going to scan and shrink them down a little so I can add a note to the top. I want the parents to know they are from the PTA and not the teachers. Then I’m going to copy enough for each student in the class. I know it will be more work, but I think I’m also going to fold them in half and staple them. I don’t want the teachers to feel awkward to send them home and I think it might be if you they can see what they are. Feel free to download the form and use it too!

Do you by chance have one of your previous Favorite Things downloads that has MOVIES, CANDLES and LOTIONS on the right hand side. I would love to use it and be able to edit it.

Oh my gosh, Lisa! I’ve been looking for ideas this year (I’m in charge of Teacher Appreciation) and found this blog and loved the idea you had for the list of favorites. I scroll down to see who the author is and it’s you! Such a coincidence! How are you anyway? Your list was awesome and I’ve been thinking this whole time while planning the week, “what would Lisa do?” haha! You were amazing last year. I miss seeing you at Coral Canyon.

Ha Ha! You are funny! Glad you found us here at Over the Big Moon. I am in charge of Teacher Appreciation Week too but thankfully I can just recycle our ideas from Coral Canyon! Miss all my friends there so much!

What an awesome idea! I currently am a stay-at-home mom, but before I had my kids I was an elementary school teacher and I would’ve definitely liked to fill one of these out. Thanks!
