Bedtime Routine Printables

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Moodsters. All opinions are 100% mine.

Bedtime! It can be the best time of the day and the worst time of the day – amiright? haha! My older two kids have been generally pretty good about bedtime actually, but my youngest fights us a bit more. The older two can basically do it all themselves now. They just need reminded of things like brushing teeth, reading, etc. The other night I was especially tired and just found myself having to repeat myself a couple times with something that (at that moment) felt that they should have no problem remembering. I mean we do it every night, right? So, I decided I needed to make some Bedtime Routine Printables for their rooms!

A few years ago, I made these Morning Routine Printables, and I really noticed a difference on our mornings! They just went smoother and the kids learned to take some initiative on getting themselves ready! So, I knew that is what our bedtime needed!

I created two versions! One pink & purple and one blue & green! And I have them available both completed and then also a blank template, that you can customize to fit your bedtime needs.

My favorite part of bedtime is reading time! We love books in this house and my husband is extra good at laying down and reading with the kiddos! Have you heard of the Moodsters? My daughter is currently loving them and their fun stories! They are 5 cute little detectives that help kids solve the mysteries of feelings. The developer, Denise Daniels, has really come up with a great way for kids to talk about emotion and feelings, which I feel is SO important this day and age! Daniels is a Peabody award-winning broadcast journalist, parenting and child development expert and author who specializes in the social and emotional development of children. And she really has created such a beautiful kids line to promote kids talking about and processing their emotions!

We have the The Moodsters Feeling Flashlight and The Moodsters Talking Plush and Activity Book.   Both my daughter and I loved the activity book! The pages were full of creative ways to incorporate feelings! And my kids couldn’t get enough of the Feeling Flashlight! All The Moodsters products are available at ToysRUs!

My kids would love the mirror and time to be kind book. One of our family themes is “be kind” and this would be perfect to reiterate it.

I’ve never thought of framing a bedtime routine. We have one but it just hangs in a page protector. Framing it is definitely cuter!!!
