Redbox Neighbor Gift Idea

redox-printable-tag

Happy Friday friends!  Today I am sharing our Redbox Neighbor Gift idea with you all!  We are both LOVING this idea, because it’s so simple, easy and EVERYONE will love it and use it!  We are offering 3 different designs/sizes, so you should have no problem finding one that you like!

What you need:

Printable Gift Tags (printable below)
Cardstock
Redbox Promo Codes (link to purchase below)
Microwave Popcorn Packages

After you have the Gift Tags all printed and signed then you just need to write in your Promo Codes!  Here is how you go about obtaining them!

Redbox allows you to purchase them on their website in bundles of 5, 10, 20 or 50 under their Redbox Gifts section (link at the bottom of the page).  You order them online and they are emailed. So, you just enter your own email address in the recipient space and you’ll receive an email with all the codes listed!

Here is a sample of the email you will receive!

confirmation

After you get all your gift tags completed, then just attach them to a package of microwave popcorn!  If you purchase the microwave popcorn in bulk, then you can get them for about $.50 each (or less).  So, the total cost for the gift, including the printing of the Gift Tag would still be under $2.00!!

If you have some people on your street that you don’t really know, but want to be a good neighbor, I think it would still be fun to just attach the Gift Tag to your families Christmas Card!

If you want to make the gift a little nicer, then you could also include a 2-Liter Soda, a bag of candy and even some popcorn containers!  The options are endless!

Now, get going, by downloading your Redbox Neighbor Gift Tags below!

I can’t find where I can buy individual codes… all I see is gift cards $10+. I just need a couple codes for teacher’s gifts. Any idea how I can get those?

We did them for teachers also. I just clicked on her link in the pin (where on their website is highlighted) and it went to it. I couldn’t find it just going straight to the site either. They came to my e-mail right away after purchase.

Redbox is raising their prices in 2015- so if i give a code, will there be a difference that needs to be paid if they redeem it after the new year?

Prices increased on Dec. 2- the codes that I have seen for the Promo codes are already a $1.50.

When I print the Santa card, instead of saying “Redbox Code” it prints!”#$%&'(%#”) (it literally has all those symbols!) Any ideas??

The download is working normal for me – and I tested it on a few computers. What’s your email and I’ll send the PDF to you through email and we’ll see if that works! Sorry about that! Not sure what is going on!

I clicked on the tags, then right clicked and copied them into a word document where I could make them bigger and had no problems printing them that way – I did the bluish ones.

what if you give someone the promo code and they keep the dvd for like 3 days, does it charge your card, or do they enter their card info with the promo code when they redeem it?

When the recipient uses the code, Redbox will require that they use their credit card. The won’t be charge for the first night (the code they’ve been gifted), but if they keep it longer it charges their credit card.

Julie – what’s the problem? I haven’t had any other complaints and I just checked all the downloads and they’re working. Email me at pam@overthebigmoon.com and let’s see if we can get it worked out for you.

Any chance you could post the Santa printable without the Redbox code so I could attach a movie gift card?

On the santa face one it docent print the “Redbox code:” IT just prints all of these weird symbols instead. What do I need to do to fix it?

So…you probably did what I did and bought the gift card and not the promo codes. Those are down farther on the same page as the promo codes. I called redbox and they gave me a refund for the card and now I will purchase the CODES instead 🙂

Sorry about that confusion Tara! Hopefully Redbox was able to give you a refund like Ashlee, so you could purchase the codes!
