Hey guys! Today I am excited to share this DIY Santa Plate & Cup Set that I put together the other day! In every home on Christmas Eve we put out cookies and milk, so why not do it on a cute and classy plate and up set?

Santa Baby Plate and Mug for our favorite man in red! Tutorial on overthebigmoon.com!

I fell in love with the new matte black dishes from the Hearth and Hand line at Target! I picked up a simple plate and mug!

I knew I wanted to keep the look simple and classy, so I headed over to Cricut Design Space to get designing! Once I got in there and saw this Santa Baby design that was already in design space I knew I didn’t need to design anything myself! I loved it! So, I saved myself the time and went with it!

Design Space really is so great and they have such amazing stuff already designed in there! There’s not always a need to design things yourself! And if you find a design you like, you can usually customize their designs to be exactly what you want!

Start by pulling up the Santa Baby design in Design Space by clicking HERE!

Resize the designs, so they’ll fit the plate and mug you have purchased.

Then go ahead and click ‘Make It’ in the top right hand corner!

Load an appropriate size piece of white vinyl on a standard grip mat (green mat).

Make sure the designs look right on the preview screen and then hit ‘Continue.’

Set your material to Vinyl, load your Fine-Point Blade and follow the promptings of your Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker!

Next, go ahead and weed out your designs using the essential tool kit or a Hobby Knife and then back it with transfer tape!

Because these designs weren’t huge, all I did was peel off the backing of the design and slowly applied the vinyl where I wanted it and used the scraper tool and my fingers to push the design onto the plate and mug strongly.
