Here are 25 fun sayings that are perfect for any Little Girls’ T-Shirt! Learn how to make them using the Cricut Wild Rose Bundle and Natalie Malan Patterned Iron On!
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.
As you guys know, I’m a big Cricut fan! I’m not only obsessed with their machines, but also their products! This year 3 incredible ladies with amazing #fearless stories and unique designer styles will be part of anew exclusive designer series launching at JOANN Stores! Each designer will launch new patterns for us all to create with!
The first designer is the one and only talented Natalie Malan and her products are GORGEOUS friends!! Natalie sees the world in watercolor — sharp edges softened. She dreams in watercolors and florals and is inspired by the art all around her. Her designs are meant for you to take risks, think outside the box and be the boss of your own art and crafts! She also shared 6 new projects in Design Space!
NATALIE MALAN CRICUT MATERIALS
Natalie released some amazing consumable sets in Cardstock, Vinyl and Patterned Iron On! When I first got all the products, my head immediately started thinking about the amazing shirt designs that I could make with the Iron On! I mean look at all those beautiful designs! I even love the more simple patterns — just adding the texture to the Iron On makes such a difference when it’s applied to a shirt!
PATTERNED IRON ON SHIRTS
I am going to share the tutorial on how to make shirts first and then below I’m going to share some fun shirt ideas, as well as fun ways to use Patterned Iron On!
ITEMS NEEDED:
- Wild Rose Cricut Explore Air 2 Bundle
- Natalie Malan Patterned Iron On Samplers
- Rose EasyPress 2 Bundle
- Design Space File
- NOPE Shirt Space File
DIRECTIONS:
Open up the shirt design ideas Design Space File. I played around with designs for a few words, but below I shared a list of other fun ones you could consider. I also made this NOPE Shirt Design in a different Design Space File.
I chose to choose the two words that I wanted to use today and turned them a color. That way they’d go to different mats and I could only cut those two mats. You could also just HIDE the layers/words you don’t want to cut.
Measure the area on the shirt you plan on placing the design and at this time resize the words to fit your shirt!
Once you’re ready to cut, hit the ‘MAKE IT’ button in the top right hand corner.
As always, with Iron On, make sure to mirror the mats you plan on cutting. Once you’ve previewed the mats and they look good, hit ‘CONTINUE’ in the bottom right hand corner.
Turn the dial on your Wild Rose Explore Air 2 and choose your machine from the drop down in Design Space.
Apply the Iron On to your mat with your Iron on SHINY SIDE DOWN. Then load your mat into the machine and hit the ‘C’ button once it’s flashing.
After your designs are cut then go ahead and weed the excess Iron On from around your designs.
I always use the EasyPress Interactive Heat Settings Guide to check the temperature and time to apply heat to my design. In this instance I was directed to heat my Rose EasyPress 2 to 340 degrees and apply heat for 50 seconds to the front and 15 seconds to the back.
Once you’re done, allow the design to cool completely and remove the plastic sheet slowly!
