Each Christmas season I like to come up with a simple gift idea that I can use for my kids teachers, a few of my friends and close neighbors. Today I am going to share with you my Easy Christmas Gift Idea that I am going to be giving this year! A few months ago, I was driving by a little cake shop near me and had this simple idea pop in my head – BUNDT cakes! And that is what I’m rolling with this year!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of the Chinet® brand . All opinions are 100% mine.
It’s crazy that December is half over! I was super on top of my gift shopping and planning of our holiday traditions. But, I kinda let my neighbor gifts fall through the cracks! So, this weekend I finally put them together! I knew I wanted to come up with a practical gift idea for some of my close girlfriends! My kids teachers loved their back to school teacher gift idea this year, where I gifted them some Chinet® disposable tableware! So, I decided to play on that and put together a practical Christmas neighbor gift idea, where I also gifted them Chinet® disposable tableware!
I put together a super simple printable gift tag that you can download and use with your gift idea too! You’ll find the download below!
As for my party planning and many family get togethers – I generally turn to my Chinet® Classic White™ dinner plates! I love getting together with friends, but honestly, we’re so busy that it just doesn’t happen as often as I want. So, the holidays are the perfect excuse to not let anything else get in my way! Now, back to my girlfriend gift! To start, gather the disposable tableware that you want to use! If you follow my blog, you’ll know that I’m Chinet® obsessed and I pretty much don’t use anything different!
I then stacked the smaller items top of the Chinet® Cut Crystal® dinner plates!
Next, I gathered the rest of the supplies I needed. The gift tag, distress ink, twine, glue tabs and a bow!
You an download the gift tag here or by clicking the image below:
To give that gift tag a finished look I went ahead and took some distress ink to the edges.
Then I used some glue tabs to connect the gift tag to the burlap bow!
Use the twine to connect all your Chinet® Disposable Tableware. If needed, feel free to tape the twine on the back of the plates to secure it. Then place the bow with the gift tag onto of the twine, where it is tied into a knot.
Now, you’re ready for delivery! Woohoo!
Your girlfriends and neighbors are gonna LOOOOOOOOVVVEEE you for this! Promise!!

I’ve lived in my neighborhood for 2 1/2 years now! It’s been such a great neighborhood, but sadly, some of my neighbors have been getting the ‘2 year itch’ and are choosing to move on. We’ve had a handful of new neighbors over the last few weeks and I’ve wanted to welcome them. But, this is such a busy time of year and I haven’t had a lot of extra time! So, I turned to my recipe for Perfect Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies and added a simple Welcome New Neighbor Printable! It was simple, fast and I got good neighbor points! Woohoo!
To make it look a little nicer, I put the cookies on my favorite Chinet® Cut Crystal® plates! They make everything look a little nicer!
I just stocked up on all my Chinet® products at Walmart for the upcoming Holidays! I’m obsessed with the Chinet® Classic White™ and Chinet® Cut Crystal® disposable tableware for all my parties and get-togethers! And now that I have a few new neighbors I can’t wait to have them over for a dinner!

First up, let me share the Perfect Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies recipe with you!
1/2 cup Butter
2 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Milk
4 tablespoons Cocoa
1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
3 cups Instant Oats
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Add the butter, sugar, milk and cocoa to medium pot. Place on medium heat.
Stir to combine and allow to come to a boil.
While it’s working up to a boil, measure your peanut butter and instant oats.
Once the sauce has come to a rolling full boil, time boil for 1 minute and 15 seconds. This is the secret to the perfect no bake cookie! If it boils too long, then the cookies will be too dry and they will fall apart to easy! If it doesn’t boil long enough, then the cookies are too soft!
Once the sauce has boiled for 1 minute and 15 seconds, remove from the heat.
Add the peanut butter and stir. Then add the oats in and stir. Lastly, add in the vanilla and stir.
Get a big sheet of wax paper on your counter top and drop the cookie mixture by the tablespoon onto it. I love to use a a medium cookie scoop!
Allow to set for at least 60 minutes before enjoying!
Now for the printable! Below you’ll find the download link for the Welcome New Neighbor Tag!
The bottom of the tag will be blank where you can write in your own custom notes for your new neighbor! If you prefer to have the texted printed on the tag, just download the file and then import it into an editing program or website and you can add that text onto the file!
Okay friends; time to go get to know those neighbors and start planning your upcoming Holiday get-togethers! And don’t forget to stock up on all your Chinet® disposable tableware at your local Walmart!
I can’t even tell you how excited I am to have Halloween content going up on my blog! That means FALL IS HERE! Literally if you could see me I have a huge grin on my face! We LOVE Fall in this home! Today I am sharing a fun Halloween Test Tube Treat and Printable Tag with you fine friends!
My kids always have a Halloween party at school and we’ve kind of made it a tradition to take in something a little extra fun to their class! The other day we were walking into Target just as they were pulling out their Dollar Spot Halloween stuff and my son saw the test tubes and thought they were so cool! So, I grabbed them and decided to roll with it!
To start you’ll need to gather your supplies:
- Plastic Candy Test Tubes
- Printable Treat Tags (download below)
- Distress Ink or Crayon
- Bakers Twine (I used black and white)
- Embellishments (optional)
- A fun treat – I went with mini M&M’s.
You can get the plastic test tubes all over the place – party stores, Amazon, etc. You can also search Gumball tubes. I prefer the ones with flat bottoms, but they do make them with rounded bottoms more true to an actual test tube. So, go with whatever look you like the most!
To get started – go ahead and download my printable tags using the link below. I highly suggest printing them on cardstock.
The file above is in JPG format and can printed at home using your printer or sent to a print shop if you prefer.
Once printed, cut them out. I then I like to take my distressing ink and ink the edges. It helps give a more worn and finished look. I used my vintage (brown) distressing ink this day. If you don’t have distressing ink, a crayon is another easy way you could accomplish this look.
You don’t have to use embellishments if you want to keep the cost down or can’t find any cute ones, but I thought it added a fun little look. As for the bakers twine – to go along with my theme I used just a plain black and white.
Once your tags are cut, then use a small mini hole puncher or the end of some scissors to create a small hole in the top of the printable tag to thread the bakers twice through. Then go ahead and thread your bakers twine!
Next, take your candy and fill your test tubes. Again, I just used mini M&M’s, but you can really fill them with whatever candy you’d like! Then go ahead and cork the top!
Lastly, tie your bakers twine around the top of your test tube and add any embellishments you want.
The embellishments I used had a small sticky circle on the back that helped secure the bakers twine in place when I pushed it onto the top. But, if you don’t use any embellishments and feel like it needs a little securing, don’t hesitate to use your hot glue gun to just dab a tiny dot of hot glue on the knot. That way it will secure the twine to the test tube and there will be no movement.
The treats still look really cute, even without embellishments! So, don’t stress if you don’t want to find any!
I hope you and your kiddos enjoy this fun treat this Halloween season!
Make sure and check out a few of my other favorite Halloween projects:
As a reminder this printable tag is for personal use only.
