20+ Valentine’s Day Stay at Home Activities

For the last few years, my husband and I have stayed home on Valentine’s Day. It can be a pain trying to find a babysitter that evening, fighting the crowds, etc. We have learned that we enjoy spending time with our kids that day and evening just as much as having an official date with just the two of us! We have created some wonderful memories with our kids on Valentine’s Day and I wouldn’t trade that for the world!  Today I wanted to share with you some fun Valentine’s Day Stay at Home Activities!

Here are 10 Family-Friendly ideas that you can do with your kiddos at home to make your Valentine’s Day full of love and extra special! But stay tuned, because once the kids are in bed I have 10 Stay at Home Date Night ideas to share with you too!

Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate with my kids! We usually start the day with some Strawberry Pancakes or Sweet Waffle Donut. 

I also love to pack the kids a fun Valentine’s Day lunch! I’ve got lots of fun ideas here — Kids Valentine’s Day Lunch Ideas! 

For dinner I switch it up to whatever the kids are liking! I like to try and push something extra nice on them, but they generally want something a little simpler!
