4 Tasty Artichoke Dips that make eating an artichoke even better! Lemon Butter, Mayo & Balsamic, Garlic Butter and Honey Mustard – one of these is sure to win you over.
Artichokes are a family favorite side, snack or even meal! My middle son is OBSESSED! You’ll never see a boy so happy as him when I walk in from the grocery store and pull out a bag of artichokes! I shared all about how we cook and eat them in this post — How to Eat an Artichoke.
For me, one of the extra fun parts of eating an artichoke is making several artichoke leaf dipping sauces! I often times will me 2 or even all 4 of these and then use all of them!
Some people don’t love to use the dips for the artichoke leaves, but believe it’s a must when eating the artichoke heart! But, I disagree! I love using the dips for every bite! I truly believe you’ll be hooked once trying these!
Artichoke Leaf Dipping Sauces
Lemon Butter Artichoke Dip
1 cube butter
Juice from two lemons (approx ¼ cup)
Heat the butter in the microwave or in a small sauce pan. Add lemon juice and serve.
Mayo & Balsamic Dip for Artichokes
½ cup Mayo
1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
Salt and Pepper to taste
Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl and serve.
Garlic Butter Artichoke Dip
1 cube Butter
1 tablespoon minced Garlic
Heat the butter in the microwave or in a small sauce pan. Add minced garlic and serve.
Honey Mustard Dip for Artichokes
½ cup Mayo
2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl and serve.
And there they are!! My favorite is probably the Mayo + Balsamic Artichoke Dip, but I truly do love and enjoy all of them!
