I like to include a letter from Santa in our kids stockings! To make it more believable, I sent out an e-mail to their teachers at school, Grandparents and my friends, asking them if they saw one of my kids do something nice to please e-mail me back. That way there would be things in the letter that Mom and Dad wouldn’t know about.

Why I love Letters From Santa
I am so excited for them to read these on Christmas! The best gift we can give our children comes from a feeling inside and not objects. Even though our older kids will know it’s from us, I know it will make them really happy to know that we hear the good things they do, even when they’re not at home.

How to get your Free Printable Santa Letter
There are two options for you to choose from below! A traditional design and a modern design!
You can print the letterhead of your choice and handwrite your letter or import the file into an editing program and add the letter text prior to printing. I generally choose the white background file and print it on Parchment Cardstock.

Hey there parents! Just a quick heads-up: the Santa letters I’ve whipped up are like your favorite cookie dough – great as is, but even better with your own mix-ins! So, I’ve left prompts in the letters for you to personalize them! Think of them as a starting point. Your kiddo has had a year full of their own little quirks, adventures, and giggles. So go ahead, toss in those personal tidbits that’ll make your child’s eyes light up. Did they master the art of shoelace tying? Or maybe they can’t stop talking about dinosaurs? I just tested the link and it is working fine. If you click the button “Download File HERE” it will download a ZIP file onto your computer. Then go to where your downloads save to and you will need to uncompress it. When you uncompress the file it will have the two templates for you to choose from.

Thank you so much for sharing these!! My eldest is 5 and (thanks to kindy and taking notice of Christmas songs) he’s been asking us if he’s on Santas naughty list!! Poor thing!! We keep telling him that we’re pretty sure he’s on the nice list, because HES not naughty, he just doesn’t listen sometimes (ASD) but I don’t think he’s hearing us. I decided it might be time to get our Elf on the Shelf to bring a letter from Santa letting him know he is on the nice list which will hopefully take away that anxiety!
Then I thought if I’m going to have a letter come from Santa, I want to look pretty darn good as Santa is unlikely to change his stationary over the years to come so it’ll need to last for many many years to come!! haha

I use Photoshop elements but there is also free photo editing software that should work. You can also print this, then type it in Microsoft word leaving large borders and then print your text onto the stationery.
